Pinnacle Event Logistics has provided logistics support to dozens of theatre tours across New Zealand over the past decade, delivering large multi-container productions into our stunning but challenging early 20th-century theatres. These Edwardian venues are beautiful, but not designed for fast unloading and the storage of up to 11 × 40ft containers—especially when working with skeletal trailers at tight loading docks. On top of that, every container and item must be thoroughly checked to meet MPI’s strict biosecurity requirements.
Working with our European principals or directly with promoters, Pinnacle Event Logistics has managed the entire show logistics for these tours.
As anyone behind the scenes knows, a major touring production’s set takes a beating on the road. We’ve sourced and delivered materials for on-the-fly repairs to keep productions show-ready. After long runs in venues such as Christchurch’s Isaac Theatre Royal, sets have been packed up and containers shipped seamlessly to the next international stop—whether Shanghai, Sydney, or beyond.
