Major renovation projects bring logistics challenges that go well beyond a standard move, and that’s exactly the kind of work Pinnacle Events takes on. When Marco Creemers and Ryan Sanders began restoring Earnscleugh Castle, one of New Zealand’s most remarkable heritage properties near Clyde in Central Otago, they needed a secure and practical way to store the full contents of their Auckland home until the castle was ready to receive them.
Our team packed and loaded the entire contents of the Auckland property into two shipping containers, then managed the transport south to the Earnscleugh Castle site in Central Otago. The containers were positioned on-site and used as secure, weatherproof storage for the full duration of the restoration. Nothing needed to move twice, nothing sat in an offsite facility, and nothing was handled more than necessary. It’s the same project logistics precision we bring to touring shows and events: a plan built around the client’s timeline, not a generic schedule.
This project shows how container transport and on-site storage can support projects that don’t run on a standard timeline. Whether a restoration takes months or years, having belongings secured on-site, dry and accessible whenever they’re needed, removes one of the biggest headaches of a major renovation.
Congratulations to Marco and Ryan on an extraordinary transformation. Earnscleugh Castle’s restoration is a project we’re proud to have supported.
