Paul Caskie
Based in Auckland
Paul brings 30 years of expertise in freight forwarding and customs brokerage. His extensive knowledge spans import/export by sea and airfreight, and handling customs clearances for permanent or temporary imports and cargo travelling under a carnet. Paul owns the successful Pinnacle Logistics and co-owns Pinnacle Event Logistics, leveraging his depth of experience to provide tailored logistics solutions.
Mark Pedersen
Based in Christchurch
With three decades in shipping and logistics, Mark has gained much experience from roles in Napier, Auckland, Sydney, and Christchurch. After selling his first freight forwarding business, he transitioned to managing a major transport company. Today, Mark is a director of both Pinnacle Event Logistics and Container Relocations Limited, where his focus on delivering on-time and on-budget logistics aligns with the needs of the show and event industry.
Nicholas Scanlan
Based in Christchurch
Nick has 30 years of experience in freight, warehousing and Third-Party Logistics. Starting his career hands-on in a Christchurch warehouse, he quickly rose to branch manager of a 25,000m² facility with 20 staff. Nick later held area management roles for the world’s largest beverage producer, overseeing logistics across New Zealand’s South Island. He brings his knowledge of managed warehousing to freight forwarding and event logistics, as a Container Relocations and Pinnacle Event Logistics co-owner.
Phil Welsh
Based in Christchurch
Phil brings over four decades of experience in commercial banking, finance, and business administration across New Zealand and Asia, specialising in commercial banking, foreign exchange and international finance. He then spent eight years as Commercial Manager at ASB Bank, managing relationships with Christchurch’s largest business and property clients, focusing on property finance, trade finance, treasury, and trusts. Since 2010, Philip has led Team Admin Ltd, providing expert bookkeeping, payroll, and administrative services to businesses nationwide. His deep financial insight and practical leadership make him a valuable asset in supporting Pinnacle Event Logistics.
